Targeted to the 50 & over crowd but open to everyone, this popular free fitness program takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays near the Griffin Visitor Center. No classes on the following dates 5/26; 7/4; 9/1.

The Onondaga Lake Skatepark will open for special night sessions this summer. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 27 - Skateboard and In-line users - 8-11pm

Saturday, June 28 - BMX users - 8-11pm

Friday, July 18 - BMX users - 8-11pm

Saturday, July 19 - Skateboard and In-line users - 8-11pm

Friday, August 15 - Skateboard and In-line users - 8-11pm

Saturday, August 16 - BMX users - 8-11pm

Friday, September 5 - BMX users - 7-10pm

Saturday, September 6 - Skateboard and In-line users - 7-10pm

 

These night skates are open to all registered users ages 11 and over. Advance sale admission tickets are available at the Griffin Visitor Center. Season and monthly pass holders must purchase a ticket for these particular sessions, and all participants must have a waiver on file at Onondaga Lake Park.

The BMX ShredFest is a competition open to all registered BMX users of the skatepark.  Riders will compete against each other in two different skill levels consisting of intermediate and expert.  Competitors will be judged based on creativity, originality, degree of difficulty and overall use of the skatepark.  Prizes will be awarded in each skill level.  The skatepark will be closed to regular business throughout the course of the competition.

Jingle Bell Run/Walk is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others! Wear a holiday themed costume. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. Run or walk a 5 kilometer route with your team members and celebrate the season by giving.

 

Registration Fees:

$17 Until November 8th

$20 Novevember 9th through November 22nd

$25 "Day Of" November 23rd

Entry fee waived & receive a t-shirt if you fundraise a minimum of $35.00
