DESCRIPTION:<p>&nbsp;From February 18 -22, the Nature Center will feature a fun filled schedule of both indoor and outdoor activities.&nbsp; Visitors will have the opportunity to get out and enjoy winter by participating in Ice Cutting, Building a Snow Cave, or Snowshoeing in Search of Wildlife Signs (weather permitting).&nbsp; Folks will be able to warm up in the Visitor Center and learn about the Featured Creature.&nbsp; In addition, trails will be open for skiing and snowshoeing.&nbsp; This year, local author Tom Adessa will read three of his children&rsquo;s stories. <br /><br />Storytime with Tom Adessa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monday &amp; Wednesday 12 noon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Ice Harvest&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tuesday &amp; Thursday @ 11 a.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Build A Snow Cave&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Wednesday @ 11 a.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Creature Feature&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monday through Friday @ 1:30 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Snowshoeing In Search of Wildlife Signs&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monday through Friday @ 2 p.m.<br />Snowshoes are available to rent for $3 an hour on a first-come basis.</p><p><span style="font-weight: bold">Some of the above activities are weather dependent, </span></p><p><span style="font-weight: bold">please call the Nature Center for daily updates. </span></p>
