This snowshoe clinic will include instructions and a short snowshoe hike. Folks with little or no snowshoe experience will especially enjoy this one-hour introduction. Registration is required beginning at 8am the day of the hike and space is limited. This program will be offered only when conditions are acceptable. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Onondaga County Parks is offering American Red Cross Lifeguard Training at the Jamesville-Dewitt Middle School pool on Randall Road in Jamesville.

All participants must be 15 years of age by April 8, 2008 and pass a pre-class test of swimming skills. Upon completion of the 11-week course participants will be certified in American Red Cross Training for pools, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and use of an Automatic External Defibrillator.

Class takes place Tuesdays from February 5 - April 8.
