Beaver Lake Nature Center is offering 2 van trips to local birding favorites.  We'll join expert birder Joe Brin to birdwatch for warblers, vireos and other nesting birds. On May 22 it's Whiskey Hollow, and on May 29 we'll visit Three Rivers. Sign up for each trip separately.

The Friends of Beaver Lake are sponsoring an amateur photo contest to capture the beauty and diversity of Beaver Lake. Entries will be judged in the following age groups: 11 & under 12-17 years old 18 & over. Winning entries will be displayed at Beaver Lake from September 8-30.
