Father's Day Canoe Tour

$5 per canoe

Registration Required

Bring your dad, grandad, favorite uncle or neighbor. Heck, bring Mom too! Old and young alike will enjoy this early morning salute to a special day. We will drift across the still waters looking for great blue heron, painted turtles, and beaver lodges. Participants may bring their own canoes or rent one for an additional $8.

Weekend Canoeing & Kayaking

$2 per vehicle park admission; Rental rates are $8 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour

Enjoy a leisurely paddle on your own around Beaver Lake. Explore the lake's edge and search for beaver lodges, turtles, herons and osprey. Paddlers may bring their own canoe or rent one from the Visitor Center. ental is on a first-come basis.  Canoes will not be permitted to launch after 4 pm. All canoes must be off the lake by 5 pm You must register at the canoe dock. Canoeing is subject to safe conditions and we reserve the right to cancel. 

In addition to weekends, the canoe/kayak dock will be open Monday holidays.

Canoe/Kayak Basics

Before you take the plunge into canoeing this summer, come learn how to stay afloat. This two hour introductory course will help you stay safe and have fun on the water. Included will be different paddle strokes, safety and etiquette. Canoe/Kayak rental included.
