Time Out to Fish

This program offers school groups serving children with special needs, senior citizens and persons with disabilities the opportunity to fish for rainbow trout at Carpenter's Brook with all bait and equipment provided.
School groups/students with disabilities: June 2-June 13 9:30-11:30am
Senior or other disabled groups: June 16-July 25 Tues-Thurs 9:30-11:30am & 1:30-3:30pm.
Please note Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons are reserved for senior or disabled individuals.

Registration opens May 5.

Future Guard

This five day class is an advanced training experience for kids serious about becoming a lifeguard one day to refine their swim stroke, learn about water safety, and become certified in CPR and First Aid. Open 12-14 year olds. Pre-requisite: Intro to Lifeguarding.

Demos will be every day until September 1 (weather permitting).  Meet the keeper chats will be conducted periodically throughout the Zoo.  The Contact Barn may conduct additional demos throughout the day.  Schedule is subject to change.
