Demos will be every day until September 1 (weather permitting).  Meet the keeper chats will be conducted periodically throughout the Zoo.  The Contact Barn may conduct additional demos throughout the day.  Schedule is subject to change.  

Weekend Canoeing & Kayaking

$2 per vehicle park admission; Rental rates are $8 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour

Enjoy a leisurely paddle on your own around Beaver Lake. Explore the lake's edge and search for beaver lodges, turtles, herons and osprey. Paddlers may bring their own canoe or rent one from the Visitor Center. ental is on a first-come basis.  Canoes will not be permitted to launch after 4 pm. All canoes must be off the lake by 5 pm You must register at the canoe dock. Canoeing is subject to safe conditions and we reserve the right to cancel. 

In addition to weekends, the canoe/kayak dock will be open Monday holidays.
