Join Beaver Lake Naturalists for this three-day adventure to the Adirondacks. The weekend begins with a short hike up Bald Mountain near Old Forge. We will stay both evenings at the Crowne Plaza, in Lake Placid; giving everyone ample time to see the Olympic Center and do some shopping. Saturday, we will have a private tour of the Wild Center, and its new Wild Walk—an elevated trail across the Adirondack treetops. After we visit the Wild Center, we will go on another hike at High Falls Gorge, before having dinner in Lake Placid. Sunday, we will visit the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, and get to see up close grey wolves, black bears, hawks, and owls. Before heading home, we will stop by Whiteface for a final relaxing lunch at the base of the mountain!
Fee includes accommodations, hot breakfasts both mornings and admissions to all parks and facilities.
