Tracking Wildlife on Snowshoes
Saturday, January 2, 2021 – Sunday, February 28, 2021
Repeats every Sunday, Saturday
2:00PM
For those that have experience snowshoeing, join a Naturalist on a snowshoe adventure looking for signs of winter wildlife. The program begins in the Visitor Center with an introduction on how to identify wildlife tracks and other signs. Then venture out with a Naturalist on a guided snowshoe hike trying to find clues of wildlife activity and observe the animals themselves. Registration is required beginning at 8am the day of the hike and space is limited. If lack of snow prevents snowshoeing, there will still be a Naturalist-guided hike in search of winter wildlife.
Please note: Due to Covid-19, snowshoe rentals are not available. Masks are required, if unable to social distance.
