Wildlife in Winter: Tracks and Signs
Saturday, January 1, 2022 – Sunday, February 27, 2022
Repeats every Sunday, Saturday
12:30PM
This interactive program will be offered if snow conditions prevent the Try Snowshoeing clinic from being conducted.
Join a Naturalist and learn how to identify wildlife tracks and other signs of animal activity. Sometimes clues to the 'secret lives' of wildlife are right under your feet...or nose! Take the 'Track Challenge' and see how many tracks you can already identify. Learn how to search for other signs of wildlife like browsing and skat (i.e. poop.) With this new knowledge you will be ready to head on the trails on your own or with a Naturalist, on snowshoes, or not, and see the winter ecosystem with a new perspective!
