Discover one of Onondaga County’s hidden gems! Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of Carpenter’s Brook Fish Hatchery, where more than 70,000 trout are raised each year and stocked in local streams and ponds throughout the region. You’ll hear directly from the staff who make it all happen as they share how the hatchery operates, its role in local conservation efforts, and how it supports seasonal fishing programs for children, families, and the public. After the tour, enjoy an opportunity to fish in the pond (equipment provided).
This program will meet at Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery. No transportation will be provided. Please note that participants will encounter 5 stairs to access the hatchery
